A significant portion of Moelogo’s latest EP, ‘Magic’, was loaded with positive affirmations, undoubtedly meant to resonate with listeners. For the project’s 6th track, though, “On Me”, Moelogo lets loose, performing a set of light-hearted lyrics to woo a love interest, over the punchy mid-tempo beat Jaysynth produces mixing palm-wine guitar riffs, flute harmonies and boisterous Afropop drums.

The British-Nigerian singer has just put out the music video for “On Me”, and it highlights the song’s ability to soundtrack events built on camaraderie. Set at a party, the Eric Myers-directed highlights colourful dancing and intimate party rocks, as well as frames of Moelogo dancing with his beautiful muse.
